Applications in plain papers are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Professor, Associate Professors for Mizoram Institute of Medical Education & Research (MIMER) as shown below. Application along with bio data, complete address, contact numbers and photocopies of relevant documents may be submitted on or before
21.09.2018 to Director, MIMER, Falkawn. Application received after due date will not be entertained.
Applicants who are applying via E-mail should also submit the scanned copy of the Bank/Demand Draft or IPO meant for application fee drawn in favour of Director, Mizoram Institute of Medical Education & Research payable at Aizawl, along with their applications. The actual Bank/Demand Draft or IPO must be produced and submitted at the time of interview.
Application fees are Rs. 300/- for General Category and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/OBC.

I. Terms and Conditions of service
1. Nature of Appointment:
i) The post of Professors, Associate Professors will be on Contract Basis with fixed remuneration initially for one year which is extendable on the basis of satisfactory performances.
ii) The Department has the authority to reject incomplete applications without assigning any reason thereof.
iii) The Department will not be responsible for any non receipt of application.
i. Professors: Rs. 2, 50,000/- (fixed) without any extra allowances or pensionary benefits.
ii. Associate Professors: Rs. 2,20,000/- (fixed) without any extra allowances or pensionary benefits
3. Educational Qualifications:
The qualifications as prescribed in the Medical Council of India “Minimum Qualification for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998” of the MCI as amended from time to time will be applicable for determining the eligibility of the candidates.(Amendment upto 8th June 2017)

5. Relevant Documents Required to be submitted
1) Recent passport size photo.
2) Proof of ID – Aadhar/Voters ID/PAN Card.
3) Relevant educational marksheets and certificates.
4) Experience Certificate, if any.
5) Registration of MBBS and PG degree (if applicable).
6. Personal Interview: Date, time and venue of personal Interview shall be intimated for eligible candidates in due course.
Candidates should bring their Original Certificates and Documents etc at the time of Interview.
