The Director of Agriculture (Research and Extension) Government of Mizoram invites application for the under mentioned posts for the KVKs under Agriculture (Research and Extension) Department which are to be filled up on co-terminus basis.
(The appointment is for the period of the scheme of KVKs in existence in the State of Mizoram and not inter transferable with the Host Department).
The application may be submitted on or before 16.03.2017 in the prescribed application form which can be had in the office of the undersigned during office hours.
Attested copies of mark sheets, certificates, etc. from HSLC onwards be sumbitted alongwith application.
Incomplete applications are to be summarily rejected.

| 1 | Senior Scientist and Head | 4 Nos. | PB-3 Rs 15,600 - 39,100 + GP Rs 8,000 | Essential : i) Doctorate degree in revelant field of Agriculture/ Horticulture / Animal Science/ Fisheries Science having a background of Bachelor and Master Degree in a concerned subjects from a recognized Agricultural Institute / University. ii) Five years experience (Excluding Doctorate Degree during service subject to a maximum of three years) in research/ teaching/ extension Education in the scale of PB-3 Rs 15,6000 - 39,000 + GP Rs 5,400 or in an equivalent position in the revelant subject. iii) Working knowledge of Mizo language atleast upto Middle School Standard. iv) Age limit: Candidate must not have attained the age of 45 years as on closing date of receipt of applications. Relaxation to SC/ ST candidates may be given in accordance with the orders issued by Government of India from time to time. |
