Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position under DST-SERB Project

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
position under a DST-SERB project entitled ” Study of Gasoline Quality in Aizawl and Its Impact
on Vehicular Tail-Pipe Emission ”
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidate with prior knowledge/experience in Chemometric
Techniques (PLS, PCA, PCR, etc) and FTIR spectroscopy.
Project duration : 3 years.
Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- per month for the first 02 years and Rs. 28,000/- per month for the third
year.
General terms and conditions :
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
The maximum duration is of three years. The PI and Institute reserves the right to terminate the
engagement of the JRF at any time, if the performance is not satisfactory.

• Candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit. The date and time of
interview will be informed via email.
• Candidates shortlisted for interview should appear in person with originals of degree
certificates, and date of birth proof along with any other relevant information.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
