4. Thiamna ngaite :
1. (a) B.Sc. Forestry/B.Sc.Agri. Selected candidate will undergo 1year condensed Forests Ranger Course during apprenticeship periods on stipendary. OR
(b) B.Sc. with Phy/Chem/Maths with Botany/Biology as fourth subject. The selected candidates will undergo 2 years Forest Ranger Course on stipendary. OR
(c) Departmental Candidates from Soil Conservation Demonstrator (Senior) trained in Forest Ranger Regular Course.
The Services of the above (a)&(b) will be effective from the date of passing out of the mentioned training. 5 1/2 months Soil Conservation Training is compulsory within 2yrs counting from the service.
2. Working Knowledge of Mizo language of Middle School standard. It may be relaxed in case of candidates belonging to Chhimtuipui District.
3. Minimum of Physical standard. Height – 1.625m or 163cm round Chest – 0787m or 79cm round. Expansion – 0.0508m or 5cm round.
4 Computer Proficiency :
i) Basic Knowledge of Computer Application equivalent to Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) or Diploma in Computer Application/ Certificate in ComputerApplication from institutions recognised by Mizoram State Council of Technical Education or such other courses of the level as determined by the Government from time to time.
ii) Course on Computer Concepts Plus (CCC+) or Expert Computer Course (ECC) under NIELIT, or
iii) ‘O’ Level. ‘A’ Level. ‘B’ Level Courses under NIELIT or
iv) Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Electronics from Polytechnic Institutions or Institutions recognized under Govt.of Mizoram or Govt.of India, or
v) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Electronics from recognized University or Institutions recognized under Govt. of Mizoram or Govt. of India, or
vi) Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Electronics from recognized University or Institutions recognized under Govt. of Mizoram or Govt. of India.
