WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR TEMPORARY POSITIONS AND PH.D PROGRAMME
1. For Accountant
Walk-in Interview for Indian citizens for filling up temporary position of Accountant under
TEQIP III, NIT Mizoram. Interested candidates may attend the interview with duly filled-in
application form downloadable from the Institute website www.nitmz.ac.in, original and
attested copies of all academic, experience certificates (if any) and testimonials on
28th September, 2018 at 10.30 AM in the Administrative Block, NIT Mizoram, Chaltlang, Aizawl-796012.

Essential Qualification :
(i)First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with Honours in
Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent in grade from a recognized University or Institute.
Or
Master’s Degree in Commerce/ MBA (Finance) from a recognized University or Institute
with excellent academic record.
(ii) Knowledge of computer application viz word processing, Spread Sheet and Computerbased accounting software.
Nature of Appointment: Purely Contractual
Remuneration & Duration: Selected candidate will be appointed initially for a period of
one year with a consolidated salary of Rs. 20, 000/- per month and may be extended upto
the completion of TEQIP-III based on satisfactory performance.
2. FOR LAB. ENGINEER
Walk-in Interview for Indian citizens for filling up temporary position of lab Engineer to work in
Special Manpower Development Project for chips to system design (SMDP-C2SD)project
under MeitY.
Interested candidates may attend the interview with duly filled-in application form downloadable
from the Institute website www.nitmz.ac.in, original and attested copies of all academic and
experience certificates (if any) and testimonials on 3rd October 2018 at 10.30 AM in the
Administrative Block, NIT Mizoram, Chaltlang, Aizawl-796012.

Essential Qualification :
M.Tech / M.E. degree in Microelectronics / VLSI with minimum 60 % marks or 6.5
CGPA. Final Year M.Tech/ M.E whose final result is waiting may also appear.
Desirable: Expertise in VLSI related subjects and hands-on proven experience of using CAD
tools like Cadence/Synopsys/VHDL either in job or project-based courses.
Selected candidate will be appointed initially for a period of one year with a consolidated salary
of Rs. 34, 000/- per month and it can be renewable for duration of the project on performance
basis.
3. FOR PART-TIME PH.D SCHOLAR
Applications are invited for admission into part-time Visvesvaraya Ph.D. program sponsored by
MeitY, Govt. of India in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Interested candidates may attend the interview with duly filled-in application form downloadable
from Institute website (www.nitmz.ac.in), original and attested copies of necessary supporting
documents and a demand draft (of Rs 200 for General/OBC, `100 for SC/ST); drawn in favour of
“Director, NIT Mizoram” payable at SBI, Bawngkawn Branch, Aizawl should be attached with the
application form on 3rd October 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Administrative Block, NIT Mizoram,
Chaltlang, Aizawl-796012.

Eligibility Criteria:
(i) M.Tech / M.E. degree in Microelectronics / VLSI or equivalent in an appropriate area
with minimum 60 % marks or6.5 CGPA.
(ii) B.Tech. /B.E. degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Computer science &
engineering with minimum 60 % marks or 6.5 CGPA.
Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates.
***For SC/ST candidates, there is a relaxation of 0.5 CGPA or 5% of marks.
Incentive:
One time incentive of Rs 2.5 lakhs at the time of successful completion of PhD degree.
