Notice lnviting Applications for Junior Research Fellow
Application in prescribed format is invited from lndigenous Mizo Citizens residing in Mizoram to work as Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, (EF&CC) Mizoram, Aizawl
subject to following terms and conditions;
Terms of Engagement of Junior Research Fellow:

| 1 | Nature of work | Assist EF&CC Deptt. on; a. Revision of State Action Plan on Climate Change (SAPCC) b. Preparation of Sub-national REDD+ Action Plan for Mizoram (SRAP) c. Vulnerability Assessment of Forests and Biodiversity Sectors due to Climate Change in Eight (8) Districts of Mizoram d. Desk Review of literatures pertaining to Environment, Forests & Climate Change e. Typing & compilation of reports and documents, preparation of Power Point Presentations, etc. f. Any work assigned by PCCF or Senior Forest Officers of EF&CC Deptt. |
| 2 | Period of Engagement | a. lnitially for three (3) months. Can be extended depending on the work requirement b. PCCF reserves the right to terminate services of JRF at any time without assigning any reason and without any prior notice. c. The engagement shall not confer any right on the JRF to claim for regular engagement or absorption in the departmen't of EF&CC, Mizoram on the basis of this engagement. |
| 3 | Financial emoluments | a. Fixed monthly emolument of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only per month. No increment is admissible, even if engagement continues beyond one unforeseen reason. |
| 4 | Educational Qualification | a. Bachelor Degree in any field of Engineering from any recognized University in India or b. Master Degree in any field of Sciences from any recognized University in lndia with National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified. c. Having working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc in computer application. |
| 5 | Age | a. Candidate should not be more than 33 years of age as on 21- 09-2018 |
| 6 | Jurisdiction of assignment | a. lnitially at PCCF Office, Tuikhuahtlang, Aizawl. However, JRF is liable to attend duties at any place within Mizoram as and when necessary. b. TA/DA at par with Group'C' will be admissible for duty Performed outside of Aizawl City. |
| 7 | Working Hours & Leave | a. Working hours shall be same as Govt. of Mizoram office working hours. b. Except casual leave, no other leave shall be admissible. |
| 8 | Last date for receiving of Application | 21-09-2018 (5:00PM) |
Note:
a. lncomplete application shall be summarily rejected
b. Canvassing for engagement in any manner will lead to disqualification of candidate
c. The application shourd be accompanied by an undertaking in prescribed format duly signed by the applicant
d. The application should be addressed to;

e. The application complete in all respect along with undertaking duly signed must reach PCCF Office on or before 21-09-2018. Application sent by Post but delivered to PCCF Office after 5.00 PM on 21-09-2018 shall not be accepted.
f. Any candidate not willing to abide by the terms of engagement listed above need not apply.
