Posts on contract basis under GEF6 Project

The United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) funded project named Global Environment Facility (GEF6) in Mizoram is to
be implemented in 30 selected villages in and around Thorang wildlife sanctuary (Lunglei District) and Dampa Tiger Reserve (Mamit District). The project aims to mainstream biodiversity, climate change and sustainable land management and practices into the Indian agriculture sector.
Pursuant to the Operational Partner agreement (OPA) signed between
Government of Mizoram and FAO on 30.05.2019, the following posts
are to be filled-up on contract basis under GEF6 project. the Contract will
be for a period of 1 (one) year which may be extended upto 5 (five) years
based on their performance.
1. State project management unit (SPMU) – Aizawl Hqtr

Shortlisted candidates will be intimated in due course of time.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing working knowledge
of Local (Mizo) language upto Middle school level.
