Walk-in-interview
A walk-in-interview will be held on 09/12/2019 (Monday) at 10:00 a.m. in the Department of Chemistry, Mizoram University for the following post:
1. DBT, Govt. of India sponsored project entitled “Synthesis of natural product congeners to reinvigorate the investigation of their chemistry & activity against inflammatory pathogenesis and anticarcinogenic activities”. Project assistant: 01 (one) post (Emolument @ Rs. 8,000/- pm.)
Eligibility: Post graduate degree Chemistry
Age: not exceeding 35 years on the date of advertisement with relaxation as per Govt. of India rules.
Preference will be given to candidates having evidence of experience in the relevant area and NET qualification.
2. CSIR, New Delhi sponsored project entitled “Design synthesis and study of biological activity of natural product analogues” RA/JRF/SRF: 01 (one) post (Emolument as per CSIR rule)
Eligibility: For JRF: Post graduate degree Chemistry with CSIR NET, maximum age 28 years
For SRF: Post graduate degree Chemistry with 2 year research experience with one publication, maximum age 32 years
For RA: PhD in Chemistry, maximum age 35 years
General Terms and Conditions:
Applicants must report at the interview venue by 09:45 am at the date of the interview and bring along the relevant documents in originals and one set of self-attested photocopies of the same for verification.
Applicants should bring along a neatly typed application on a plain paper, stating the name, address, date of birth, educational qualifications and experiences, etc. as CV at the time of the walk-in-interview.
The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the tenure of the project. The appointment does not confer any entitlement or right over the job and will not be considered as formal service.
No TA & DA will be paid for appearing in the walk-in-interview.
