Applications are invited for
Position: Project/Field Assistant (1) with emoluments/fellowship-17,000/-per month (consolidated)
In: Department of Biotechnology (DBT-NER-Twining), New Delhi sponsored research project (vide no.BT/PR24917/NER/95/907/2017)) entitled “Plants invasion and their impacts on environment (forest biodiversity, soil attributes) of Mizoram and Assam, N.E. India”
Eligibility :
As per ICMR guidelines-2016 for the post devised by DBT; Desirable- M.Sc. in Environmental/Life Science subjects; Candidates acquiring NET may be given preference.

Terms and Conditions : The term of service is for one year which may be extended further depending on performance (maximum extension upto 3 years). The selection procedure will be fixed after screening as per the norms of DBT, New Delhi/MZU. The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The appointment does not confer any entitlement or right over the job and will not be considered. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
