Advertisement for Technical Assistant (Contract), DRDO- NEST Centre
EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
Online applications are invited for filling up of one Technical Assistant (UR) post on contract basis for DRDO North East Science & Technology (NEST) Centre, Mizoram University.
Essential Qualification:
Master’s degree in Physics or Instrumentation or Chemistry
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology in Electronics with experience of instrumentation.
Written Exam for Technical Assistant:
A written examination for Technical Assistant will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding of basic sciences – Biology, Chemistry and Physics at the level of Class-12th standard without requiring a special study of the discipline.
Tie score if any may be resolved on the basis of their percentage of marks at the graduation level, if not settled, age of the candidate (older candidates getting preference).
Terms and Conditions :
a) The appointment is purely on Contract basis and shall have no claim of permanency at any stage.
b) Candidates must attain 18(eighteen) years and should not exceed 27 (Twenty Seven) years. The crucial date for reckoning age-limit is the last date of submission of application.
c) The prescribed application fee is Rs. 50/- for male candidates only.
d) Last date of submission of applications is 26.11.2020.
e) The University reserves the right to limit the number of applications in line with the SOP due to the Covid-19 pandemic which may be done on the basis of their percentage of marks at the level of graduation.
f) University also reserves the right to conduct online interaction/ interview as deemed necessary.
