Advertisement for Project Staff
Applications in plain paper are invited for the appointment for the following positions in a purely time bound SERB funded research project “Identification, Distribution, Density and Habitat Analysis of Eutyphoeus (Michaelsen 1900) Earthworms (Oligochaeta: Annelida) in northeast

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – (Positions: 01)
Eligibility : M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology or related subjects (60% or more marks)
Desirable : Research experiences or knowledge in taxonomy, Field sampling and molecular biology Techniques with NET/GATE
Consolidated monthly Fellowship : Rs 31,000/- P.M. for 1st & 2nd year, Rs 35,000/- P.M. for 3rd year
2. Field Assistant (Positions: 01)
Qualification : B.Sc. with a minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent CGPA in Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology, experience of handling laboratory equipment and field work.
Desirable: M.Sc. who wants to pursue Ph.D.
Monthly salary: Rs 8,000/- for B.Sc., Rs 10,500/- for M.Sc.
General Terms and Conditions:
1. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the completion of the project or till satisfactory progress of the candidate.
2. The PI reserves the right to shortlist suitable candidates. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview via email/or phone.
3. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
