Advertisement for a JRF and Project Assistant position in SLS
Application is invited for following temporary post in SCIENCE & ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD (SERB) funded project entitled “Development of Molecular Methods for Detection of Antibiotic Resistance Genes in Enteric Pathogens from Vegetables Irrigated with Untreated Urban Sewage” at School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis. Initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance.
Position: Junior Research fellow (JRF)- (1)
Qualifications & Experience: M. Sc. in Microbiology or related fields with first class. Candidate prior experience in isolation and identification of endophytic Enteric bacteria as well as resistome analysis will be given preference.
Salary: (As per the norms of the university and funding agency.)
