Post : Produce Sales Officer.
Location : Aizawl, Mizoram.
No. of post : 1.
Purpose : To ensure sale of produce being grown and/ or processed by Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) to institutional buyers/ food processors both domestic and exports.
Key expectations of the role :
- Identifying potential buyers across markets & geographies for fresh as well as processed food items, especially food processing, pharmaceuticals and wellness Industries.
- Carrying out effective negotiations to ensure best rate & terms and conditions for the order quantity – on a B2B basis.
- Working closely with the project/operations team to ensure availability and supply of food items as per client’s requirements.
- Ensuring timely payments to the FPC.
- Ensuring higher rate realisation for the farmers of FPC and reasonable revenue for Clover.
- Ensuring retention & growth of the customer base through excellence in relationship management & servicing
- Ensuring accuracy of forecasts/projections, sales plans based on strong understanding of the market on the back of market research and data
Knowledge&Skills :
- Knowledge & understanding of sales& marketing.
- Knowledge of Farmer produce sales.
- Results driven and having a strong bias for action.
- Initiative and drive.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Should demonstrate interpersonal skills & a team player.
- Open to travel extensively.
- Good Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse & interpret data.
Education and experience :
- A Graduate degree.
- Minimum 1 year experience in sales & marketing.
Salary :Rs. 18,000 –25,000 per month.
