We are hiring Lastmile Operation Manager in Aizawl & Lunglei
We are looking for a high-energy, result-oriented Last Mile Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end station operations across assigned clusters in Mizoram. If you are a hustler with a go-getter attitude, a sharp analytical mind, and the ability to lead teams while maintaining absolute operational integrity, we want you on our team.
As a core operational leader, you will be directly responsible for driving delivery efficiency, managing budgets, expanding our footprint, and upholding the highest standards of compliance and security.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & SOPs: Ensure smooth end-to-end station operations across the cluster.
Enforce strict adherence to operational SOPs and conduct timely audits.
SLA & Compliance Monitoring: Maintain a strict zero-breach record for shipment closures within the defined Turnaround Time (TAT). Ensure zero missing shipments (by value & count) and strictly enforce a zero fake updates policy in the system.
Cost & Productivity Optimization: Directly drive down Per-Shipment Cost (CPS) while maximizing delivery productivity and maintaining the Promise Delivery Date (PDD).
Financial & Asset Management: Manage operational budgets allotted for the Distribution Centers (DCs), handle cash management (petty cash, OPEX), and oversee fleet management.
Network Expansion: Scout for new facilities for upcoming DC’s and suggest innovative models to expand pin-code coverage to new locations across the cluster.
People Management & HR Coordination: Act as a strong people leader. Coordinate closely with HR regarding Field Executive (FE) salaries, grievance redressal, and team well-being.
Strategic & Security Initiatives: Drive new initiatives, such as onboarding third-party vendors for shipment distribution in low-volume areas. Maintain tight security parameters to ensure zero unlawful or unethical activity across the region.
Functional Skills:
Core Operations Management & Field Execution
Strong Data Analysis (monitoring metrics, cost-tracking, and productivity trends)
Stakeholder Management (Internal teams and external partners)
Experience & Attributes:
Relevant supervisory/managerial experience in the Logistics, E-commerce, or Manufacturing industry.
Behavioral Strengths: Excellent communication, strong task prioritization, and rigorous follow-up skills.
Mindset: A true Hustler and Go-Getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is open to extensive regional travel.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work well in team environments and collaborate effectively to gain high credibility with senior management.
