Applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates for filling up 7 (seven posts of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) Provisional Employee under Women & Child Development Department, Government of Mizoram.

Age limit : 18-35 years
(Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST)
The crucial date for determining the age limit of candidates shall be the closing date of receipt of applications from candidates on 21st September, 2026.
Educational Qualification –
i) HSSLC from recognized Institution.
ii) Diploma in Computer Application Semester-I/ Certificate Course on
Computer Application or above from Institutions recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), or any institutions recognized by the Central or the State Governments/ UT Administration under the Union of India.
iii) Typing Speed of 30 words per minute (will be evaluated by Typing Test, which will be qualifying in nature.
iv) A candidate must possess Mizo Language Proficiency, as prescribed by the government from time to time.
(A candidate who studied Mizo subject in Class-X standard (HSLC) or above within Mizoram or who opted for Mizo subject as MIL outside Mizoram as
MIL outside Mizoram is exempted from taking the qualifying test paper) vide Notification No. A.11019/1/202I-P&AR (GSW) Dt:09.05.2025.
Application fee :
i) 150 for SC/ ST/ OBC category.
ii) 200 for General category.
Duly-filled applications in the prescribed form along with self-attested copies of certificates and relevant documents shall be submitted to the Establishment Section, Office of the Directorate of Women & Child Development, Tuikhuahtlang, Aizawl on or before 21st September 2026, along with Application fee of Rs 150 for candidates belonging to ST/ SC/ OBC categories and Rs 200 for candidates belonging to General Category, during working hours (i.e., 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

After thorough scrutiny, the list of valid applications will be made available on the official website/ office notice board.
Candidates will be subjected to typing test (qualifying in nature, written examination, skill test and personal interview (in that order) syllabus for each of these tests can be downloaded from the department’s website.
Candidates who are already in Government service shall apply through proper channel.
