Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position under DST-SERB Project (File No:EEQ/2017/000805)
Application are invited from eligible candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under DST SERB project entitled “Morphological and molecular characterization of Geometridae: Lepidoptera from Mizoram, Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot, Northeast India” to the Department of Zoology, Mizoram University, Aizawl, Mizoram.
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. degree in Zoology/Biotechnology with NET.
Desirable : Preference will be given to candidate with prior knowledge/experience in field work and molecular techniques
Project duration : 3 years.
Fellowship : 01 (one) post as JRF (Emolument @ Rs. 25,000/- per month for the 1st & 2nd Year and on designation as SRF by a committee @ Rs. 28,000 from 3rd year)
General Terms and Conditions
The term of service is for three years. The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The PI and the Institute reserve the right to terminate the engagement of the JRF at any time, if the performance is not satisfactory.
