ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF GUEST LECTURER

Applications on plain paper, along with the recent CV, photograph and supporting documents are invited on or before 25th August 2021 at 5 PM either through post or on above mentioned email for the posts of Guest Faculties in Department of Bio-Medical Engineering (BME), School of Technology, NEHU, Shillong for engaging B. Tech (BME) classes for the following subject as per the details given below:

(Biomedical Engg/Mechanical Engg/Electrical Engg) from
a recognized University
Desirable: Ph. D (Awarded/Thesis Submitted) in the
above-mentioned disciplines from recognized University/
Institute or teaching experience in the above subjects will
be given preferences. NET/GATE qualified candidates will
be having extra weightage.
2*Microprocessor &
Microcontroller (BM-502 & BM-512)
(Theory and Laboratory)
*Laser and fibre optics (BM-
70322) (Theory)
01Essential: First class (or at least 55% marks) in M, Tech
(Biomedical Engg/Electronics and Communications
Engg/Electrical Engg) from a recognized University
Desirable: Ph. D (Awarded/Thesis Submitted) in the
above-mentioned disciplines from recognized University/
Institute or teaching experience in the above subjects will
be given preferences. NET/GATE qualified candidates will
be having extra weightage.
3Biological Control System (BM-702 &
BM-711) (Theory and Laboratory)
01Essential: First class (or at least 55% marks) in M. Tech
(Biomedical Engg/Mechanical Engg/Electronics and
Communication Engg/Control System) from a recognized
University
Desirable: Ph. D (Awarded/thesis Submitted) in the
above-mentioned disciplines from recognized University/
Institute or teaching experience in the above subjects will
be given preferences. NET/GATE qualified candidates will
be having extra weightage.

The interviews for the above-mentioned posts will be conducted through online in due course of time 

1. The term of appointment for the current odd semester or till regular faculty join the Department.
2. Eligible candidates may produce original certificates along with one set of attested copies (for submission), recent
photograph and a copy of latest bio-data at the time of interview or at the time of physically present in the Department.
3. No Objection certificate (NOC) from employer/HOD (if employed) must be produce in original at the time of interview.
4. The remuneration would be @ Rs. 1,500/- per lecture subject to a maximum amount of Rs. 50,000/- per month (conditions apply).
The posts are purely for the defined short duration, and are of the nature of Guest Lecturer
5. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
6. The date and time of interview will be notified in due course of time.
7. No application will be entertained after the date and time mentioned above.
