Qualification :
i) HSSLC with at least 50% marks or Graduate and above with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognised University and approved by NCTE.

HSSLC with at least 50% mark or Graduate with 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognised by the RCI.
ii) Passed in Mizoram Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-I (MTET-I)
iii) Basic knowledge of computer application equivalent to course on computer concepts (CCC) or NIELIT or DCA/ CCA from institutions recognised by MSCTE or such other course of that level as determined by the Government from time to time.
iv) Working knowledge of Mizo language at least Middle School standard.
v) Relaxation upto 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Persons with Disabilities.
