Post  : Produce Sales Officer.

Location  : Aizawl,  Mizoram.

No. of post  : 1.

Purpose : To ensure sale of produce being grown and/ or processed by Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) to institutional buyers/ food processors both domestic and exports.

Key expectations of the role :

• Identifying potential buyers across markets & geographies for fresh as well as processed food items, especially food processing, pharmaceuticals and wellness Industries.
• Carrying out effective negotiations to ensure best rate & terms and conditions for the order quantity – on a B2B basis.
• Working closely with the project/operations team to ensure availability and supply of food items as per client’s requirements.
• Ensuring timely payments to the FPC.
• Ensuring higher rate realisation for the farmers of FPC and reasonable revenue for Clover.
• Ensuring retention & growth of the customer base through excellence in relationship management & servicing
• Ensuring accuracy of forecasts/projections, sales plans based on strong understanding of the market on the back of market research and data

Knowledge&Skills :

• Knowledge & understanding of sales& marketing.
• Knowledge of Farmer produce sales.
• Results driven and having a strong bias for action.

• Initiative and drive.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Should demonstrate interpersonal skills & a team player.
• Open to travel extensively.
• Good Communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse & interpret data.

Education and experience :

• A Graduate degree.
• Minimum 1 year experience in sales & marketing.

Salary :Rs. 18,000 –25,000 per month.
