Name of Post : Electrician Grade-II (Group ‘C’)
Number of Posts : 11 (eleven) posts.
Pay Level : Level 4 in the Pay Matrix (25,500 – , 81,100).
Age Limit :
Candidates must have attained 18{eighteen) years of age and must not exceed 35(thirty five) years on the last date of submission of applications.
Age relaxation shall be applicable as per the provisions of Government of Mizoram O.M. No.A.11019/15/2024-P&AR(GSW) dt. 29.04.2025, as amended from time to time. The O.M. may be

Educational & other qualifications :
i) HSLC passed or equivalent
ii) 2(two) years Electrician Trade Course passed from a Govt. recognized institute
iii) Basic knowledge of computer application equivalent to Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology {NEILIT) or other courses of the level or its equivalent and above from Govt. recognized institution.
iv) A candidate must achieve a minimum score in the qualifying test of Mizo Language Proficiency as prescribed by the Government from time to time. However, a candidate who studied Mizo subject in Class-X standard {HSLC) or above within Mizoram or who opted for Mizo subject as MIL outside Mizoram is exempted from taking the qualifying test paper.
Fee :
i) 150/- for ST/ SC/OBC category
ii) 200/- for General category
Those already in Govt. service will have to apply through proper channel.
Application forms may be obtained from 8th December, 2025 to 30th January, 2026 at the Establishment Branch, Engineer-in-Chief’s Office, Power & Electricity Department, Kawlphetha Building, MINECO, Khatla, Aizawl during office hours. Forms may also be downloaded from the Department’s website.
Duly filled application forms must be submitted to the Establishment Branch, Engineer-in-Chief’s Office, Power & Electricity Department, Kawlphetha Building, MINECO, Khatla, Aizawl on or before 6th February, 2026 along with the application fee.
